Description
After an exhilarating day of skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, fishing, or tennis, enjoy a soothing and relaxing time in our whirlpool and sauna. Upstairs there is a meeting room for guests containing a TV, board games and a library. Afterglow’s 240 acres of rolling wooded land, surrounded by Nicolet Natinal Forest, provide ideal terrain for our own X-country skiing trails. They are groomed for skate skiing and tracked for classical. You can ski right from your cottage door. There are great opportunities to observe deer, eagles, ospreys, beavers, raccoons, loons, and more in and around the lake.
Directions:
250 miles from Milwaukee, 350 miles from Chicago. We are 18 miles northeast of Eagle River, 12 miles southeast of Land O’Lakes.

Afterglow's housekeeping cottages each feature a Wood Burning Fireplace (for which we provide the wood), carpeting throughout, bath with shower or tub/ shower, picture window overlooking the lake, convenient and well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, pots and pans, silverware, pop-up toaster, electric coffee pot, and various utensils. Cribs, high chairs and roll-aways are available at no extra cost. In addition to the bedrooms, each cottage has a queen or double hide-a-bed in its living room. |

After an exhilarating day of skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, biking, fishing or tennis, enjoy a soothing and relaxing time in our WHIRLPOOL & SAUNA. These facilities are open for year-round use, with adjacent dressing rooms, shower, and restrooms. We operate the whirlpool & sauna on a reservation basis, posting a sign-up sheet in the office each morning.
