Description Located at the Lander Llama Company on the Popo Agie River, just five minutes from downtown Lander, the one room Bunk House and loft accommodates parties of five. Decorated with rustic whimsy, it includes a bath with shower, full kitchenette, a double bed, three single beds, a fold-out sofa, and a complimentary make-it-yourself breakfast. The Bunk House is at the Lander Llama Company ranchette and in full view of all the llamas and the outfitting operation. Lander's restaurants and shopping are just 5 minutes from The Bunk House. Directions: Wind River Range: One of the oldest ranges on earth. It runs from NW Wyoming to west central Wyoming for 150 miles. It contains the highest peak in the middle and northern Rocky Mountains. Probably one of the most spectacular ranges in the world filled with huge glacially carved out granite mountains called "cirques". It has thousands of lakes that were formed by these glaciers. The sub-alpine forest is filled with lodgepole pine, whitebark pine, spruce, fur and aspen. It is a wildflower and fisherman's paradise being home to the golden, brook, rainbow, brown and cutthroat. Amenities  Enjoy a stay at The Bunk House nestled on the Popo Agie River. A rustic lodgepole room that sleeps 1 to 5 people in your group. It has a full bed, three single beds, and a fold out sofa couch. It has a shower, bathroom, and a full kitchenette with a small refrigerator. Activities and Attractions Guided llama trips: A typical day on the trail starts at about 9:00 A.M. Hiking at a comfortable pace and with several short breaks, we'll travel until lunchtime. After eating we'll continue hiking to our day's destination, reaching it by midafternoon. While your guides unpack the llamas and set up camp, you may with to explore the area or wet a line while dinner is being prepared.
