Description
Arthur's Wilderness Retreat is a 6 bedroon cabin, 1 bedroom that is detached from the main dwelling. It has 5 full sized beds and 2 twin beds. There are 2 bathrooms in the main dwelling. The living room has a sofa, chairs, a TV with dish network, and a free standing gas log fireplace. The kitchen is fully furnished with large and small appliances, pots, pans and dishes. It has a large dining table and a free standing gas log fireplace. Arthur's has 2 decks, both equipped with deck furniture, a charcoal grill and a gas grill. There is also an outdoor table for dining while surrounded by mother nature at her best. Arthur's is air conditioned and also has toys for your children. We are also pet friendly.
Our rustic mountain hideaway is nestled in 115,000 acres of the Jefferson National Forest and the Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area. Arthur's has an elevation of over 5,000 feet above sea level. Our property offers an abundance of outdoor activities at your fingertips. Take a covered wagon or horseback ride, you can bike, hunt, fish, bird watch, canoe, or walk the numerous hiking trails with their breathtaking views. The Appalachian Trail, with its unparalleled beauty, is also located near Arthur's Wilderness Retreat. Of course you can relax on the porch and relish the peacefulness of your surroundings and breathe the fresh mountain air.
