Charming housekeeping cottages nestled on the shores of Blue Mountain Lake in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains of NY State. On the water, breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, private sandy beach, knotty-pine walls, porch on every unit, fully equipped kitchens (refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, etc.), bathrooms, linens, bath towels, outdoor barbecue grills, TV, phones -- everything you need! There is never a charge to enjoy local calls, Cable TV or high speed wireless Internet. Some cottages feature fireplaces, cathedral ceilings, skylights, and are wheelchair friendly. Wonderful fishing, hiking, swimming, lawn games, picnics, and free use of our fleet of canoes, rowboats and paddleboats. Spectacular trails, tennis, and golf nearby. Enjoy the rustic ambiance of our community room and conference center, with its large stone fireplace and 19th-century Steinway. In winter, enjoy remote cross-country skiing, or free downhill skiing, sleigh riding or skating at the nearby Indian Lake ski-slope. And we're only a half-hour's drive from Gore Mountain, one of the great downhill runs of the East Coast. The world renowned Adirondack Museum is just across the lake. Exhibits, concerts, plays and art classes are in town, an easy walk from your cottage. Historic boat tours depart daily from town and nearby Raquette Lake. All cottages are hypoallergenic; smoke-free and pet-free with non-feather pillows.
