Surrounded by Maryland State forests and graced by the nearby family oriented state park beach and new discovery center, "Drift In" is a comfortable, rustic, four-bedroom cottage with a great room and a full modernized kitchen. The chestnut wood interior throughout gives the charming get-away a woodsy character. Nestled under a half-dozen tall oaks, the cottage is cool in the summer and gets a warm feel in the fall and winter from the woodstove insert in the fireplace. The front porch looks across the quiet. deadend street directly upon Deep Creek Lake and our A-1 Dock. A large secluded hot-tub on the back patio offers skiers, hikers, and sportsmen whole body comfort after a day full of activity.
From Baltimore: (approx. 170 miles) Take 695 to 70 west to 68 west, at I-68 Exit 14, turn onto US 219 south (Garrett Hwy*)
From Washington DC: Take 495 to I-270 north into I-70 west, bear left onto I-68 west turn onto US 219 South (Garrett Hwy*)
From 219 south, turn left onto Zedock Miller Road, bear left onto Glendale Rd. After crossing the Glendale Rd. bridge, turn left onto State Park Rd., turn right onto Brant Rd. |
