Description Cottage on the Cove offers a private vacation retreat in one of the most beautiful bays in the U.S. The cottage is right next to Coupeville's downtown waterfront district (established 1852) in the Puget Sound. At this Washington state vacation rental, you will enjoy complete privacy as well as the beautiful view of the surrounding cove, Mount Baker, and the north Cascade Mountains. The Cottage has been completely remodeled to provide you with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, living room / dining area with a gas fireplace and French doors leading out onto the 200-square-foot deck with gas grill. Lodging accommodations include a double bed in the bedroom and a single bed in the loft. The living room is furnished with a queen hide-a-bed, television, VCR, telephone, and an eclectic section of books. The bathroom has the commode and shower in adjacent rooms. You can prepare your own meals or enjoy one of the several restaurants in the area ranging from contemporary Pacific Northwest, seafood, Asian, Cajun, and traditional dining. Meals can be delivered fresh and hot upon request -- menus and phone numbers supplied. A short walk takes you to many interesting shops and antique stores. A bakery, espresso bar, cocktail lounge, classic Northwestern tavern, museum, and the town dock with a store, deli, boat moorage, and beach are all nearby. You can also "walk on" the local keystone ferry and day trip to Port Townsend. Let your proprietors know if you have any special requests or if there is anything they can do to make your stay more pleasant at Cottage on the Cove.
