Description
The Old Red Inn & Cottages is an 1810 country inn built by a sea captain in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It is within walking distance to the village of North Conway and is surrounded by majestic mountain ranges. The Old Red Inn boasts all the comforts of today with all the personal touches of yesteryear -- a delightful alternative to hotel lodging.

There are seven classic guest accommodations in the Inn, including a beautiful suite with a canopy bed overlooking Mt. Washington and the Presidential Range. Enjoy large airy rooms, most with private baths, four-poster beds, handmade quilts, antiques, wicker chairs, stenciling, and color televisions. Lovely porches grace the Inn and entice you to enjoy swinging, relaxing, or garden viewing. Fresh flowers from the garden brighten the rooms during the summer months.
Ten cottages, some with kitchenette units, frame the driveway. All are air-conditioned and have private baths and color televisions. Several cottages offer screened porches, two bedrooms, and a living room. Award-winning flower and herb gardens surround the spacious well-manicured lawns and the heated in-ground pool.
A full country breakfast delights guests with freshly baked breads, muffins, homemade fruit jams, and herbal jellies. There are daily specials featuring cereals and fruits, creative egg dishes, bacon or sausage, pancakes, and French toast or Belgian waffles. Don't miss the selection of regular and herbal teas on the breakfast table, the bottomless coffeepot, and the hot chocolate. |
