Description
Johnstad's Bed and Breakfast and Log Guest Cabin, in the heart of Paradise Valley, exudes classic Montana hospitality and awaits the eager visitor the Big Sky Country. Emigrant Peak in the distance affords breathtaking views while guests breath in the fresh country air. Guests in both the Bed and Breakfast and Guest Cabin can easily walk down to the Yellowstone River to fly fish, view an eagle in flight, or witness a deer scampering across an open field. Johnstad's is a place to relax and look at life from another perspective.

Three spacious bedrooms, each with private bath with shower, are available in the newly built redwood bed and breakfast. The view of the Absaroka Mountains from each lodging is spectacularly beautiful and inviting. A French antique bed sets the tone for the elegantly decorated Rainbow Room. Its private bath features a whirlpool tub and a sink decorated with a Rainbow Trout. Escape to Norway and Sweden in the Fjord Room, offering a rich mahogany queen bed and handcrafted Scandinavian artwork. Family antiques and a 1930's bed take you back in time in the Winter Wheat Room.
Each morning a hearty breakfast is served to guests either in the dining room or on the deck looking out over the mountains. Inside or out, the food is delicious and the view impressive.
The Log Guest Cabin, within 200 yards of the Yellowstone River, is a fully furnished log cabin with panoramic views of Paradise Valley and the surrounding mountains. The main floor has two bedrooms, one with a rustic queen bed and one with a twin/trundle bed, and the lower-level bedroom has twin beds. Each floor also features a bathroom. Also on the main floor are the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen complete a dishwasher and microwave. Further amenities include two decks, TV with VCR, and washer and dryer. Guests provide their own meals in the guest cabin. |
