Description
Greendays vacation rental offers a peaceful, waterfront setting located on the 'quiet side' of Mount Desert Island, situated on a peninsula rich in unspoiled natural beauty, quiet shores and Down East tranquility. This large, rustic summer cottage is directly on the ocean yet within walking distance of Southwest Harbor. Its big living room, with huge stone fireplace, provides a comfortable and splendid setting for family or friends to share this Maine vacation destination.
The vacation home also features a large open porch, deep water dock/pier, and a recently remodeled kitchen with dishwasher and utensils provided. Lodging accommodations comprise four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second floor has three bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen bed, another bedroom offers two double beds, and one bedroom has a single bed. The first floor houses a bedroom with a queen bed, allowing a sleeping capacity of up to seven people. For your convenience and pleasure, the house has heat in the living room and kitchen, and comes with telephone, cable television with VCR and DVD, and a washer and dryer. Dock use is seasonal and may not be available in May or after mid-September.
On the shore of Southwest Harbor and close to Acadia National Park, Greendays vacation rental is near golf, tennis, canoeing, sea kayaking and wind surfing. If you are interested in sailing, yachting marinas are nearby as well. Enjoy spectacular attractions such as Echo Lake, Seawall, Bass Harbor, and miles and miles of magnificent hiking trails. |
