Situated on a one-acre lot on the St. Joseph's River, this cozy three-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps six in comfort. The house is centrally air-conditioned and offers a wood-burning fireplace for when the temperature turns south. The updated kitchen will give you the all the appliances you will find in your kitchen at home. Outside is a barbecue grill, fenced-in patio, and a fire-pit for that nighttime bonfire. Enjoy your morning coffee or a meal along with a breathtaking view of the river and woods.
The surrounding area offers dozens of recreational opportunities. The St. Joseph's River, known as one of the country's premier all-season fishing rivers, is also great for canoeing and kayaking. There are numerous golf courses within a short drive of the vacation rental, or you can go walking or cycling for some light exercise. Winter sports enthusiasts will enjoy snowmobiling and cross-country skiing trails.
Aside from being so close to Notre Dame, River's Edge Retreat also puts you within reach of several Michigan attractions. As you will be in the heart of Michigan's apple and peach orchards, fresh fruits and vegetables are abundant at roadside stands and "U-Pick" farms in season. You are also just a short drive from Michigan's fabled wine country, with numerous wineries and great restaurants to discover. The Southwest Michigan Lakeshore is just 30 minutes away for some fun on the water.
