Yosemite Log Cabin is a beautifully made log home just 6 miles away from California's Yosemite National Park. Nestled in the tall pine trees, this lodging accommodation has a 'feel at home' quality that is secluded yet convenient to Yosemite and neighboring gold country towns -- an ideal vacation rental destination for a family getaway.
Expert attention to detail imparts the feeling of true mountain living. This lovely log home was expertly hand crafted by the owner, whose master carpentry skills are apparent throughout. The cabin is fully equipped and ready for your vacation adventure. All the modern conveniences and furnishings will make your holiday comfortable, enjoyable, and relaxing. The cabin is completely made up with bedding, towels, and soap to simplify your getaway.
On the main floor, you will find two bedrooms with queen beds as well as a fully equipped contemporary kitchen, designed for efficiency and convenience. This floor also offers a lovely dining area with a beautiful table that will seat up to 10 people, living room with a complete entertainment center and a comfy couch, and large deck with an outdoor dining area and gas barbecue.
Downstairs, there are two additional bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and two singles. There is also a laundry room on this floor. Each floor has a bathroom with shower or shower/tub combination. The entire house sleeps up to 10 guests, but smaller parties up to 4 guests can can rent just the main floor.
The best part of lodging at Yosemite Log Cabin is the endless collection of recreational opportunities you will find. Blaze your own trail hiking from your cabin door, or trek the vast Yosemite paths, both showcasing spectacular vegetation and wildlife. A mecca for world-class rock climbing, Yosemite has professional guide services and expert instruction available for visitors. Several stables in the area offer horseback riding, or enjoy the scenery from various mountain bike and paved cycle routes.
Rivers, lakes, and fishing streams abound with trout, bass, and more. The South Fork of the Tuolumne River, just three miles from the cabin, features great fishing and swimming holes. The wild and scenic Tuolumne River is also great for whitewater rafting, with trips departing just 10 miles down the road.
Snowfall permitting, your winter adventure can begin right outside your cabin. Crane Flat offers a variety of great cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails just 15 miles up the road inside Yosemite. Badger Pass, also within the park, is a great family downhill ski area, while Dodge Ridge on Highway 108 provides a variety of exciting and more advanced skiing options. |
