Description
Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of Mendocino in this charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath California "bungalow" style home. The house is located on two beautiful acres just five minutes from the MacCallum House in the sunbelt. It has central heat via gas fireplace, entertainment system with TV/DVD with cable, Stereo w/CD, bright, sunny kitchen with dishwasher, microwave oven and a wonderful O'Keefe and Merritt gas stove. The home comes complete with an Internet-connected computer and printer. You can bask in the sunshine as the house gets great southern exposure and has lovely gardens with fruit trees. A Weber BBQ, outdoor sink, and outdoor furniture are available for those who want to dine in the garden.
One bedroom has a king bed and the other two contain queen beds. There is a pull-out sleeper in the living room. Total sleeping capacity of the home is 8 people. One of the bathrooms is quite large and has an indoor hot tub, radiant heated floors and a glass shower with marble. The other bathroom has a shower.
Rental of the accommodation includes all of the amenities of the MacCallum House including a full breakfast, wine hour and housekeeping service.
The home is located 2.75 miles from the village and is surrounded on two sides by Jackson State Forest with hiking and mountain biking trails.
