Description
Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse, built in 1877 by John Dennen for his family, is a bed and breakfast inn delightfully situated on California's Mendocino Coast on two beautiful acres dotted with orchards and gardens and edged by a year-round creek. Rated Three Diamonds by AAA, the Inn offers a place to unwind from your work-a-day world and provides the perfect location for that special getaway, wedding or vow renewal.
The grounds and gardens amongst the mature Cypress and Redwood trees is as relaxing as it is beautiful. You may catch a glimpse of quail, deer, and other wildlife, including many species of birds.
The Inn is comprised of four buildings. The main house offers four guest rooms and the lovely parlor, where you can enjoy Home is Where the Heart is II, a painting of the farmhouse by well-known painter Thomas Kinkade. The Carriage House Building includes the original Carriage House, plus four more guest rooms. Quail Cottage sits quietly at the top of the back meadow with forest and ocean vistas. Affectionately known as the Barn, the last building offers quiet seclusion with two guest rooms that can be rented together.
Every room provides affordable luxury, including private baths, elegant linens, feather beds, and big fluffy towels. Rooms may also include wood-burning fireplaces or stoves, spa tubs, television, and/or CD players. Binoculars are available for check-out, and hair dryers, irons, and alarm clocks are available upon request. A data port is in the parlor. The one-bedroom Quail Cottage includes all of these amenities plus a fully equipped kitchen, telescope, DVD player, and phone with data port.
Whether you're in the area to visit nearby Mendocino, go whale watching, sample some of the area's fine wines, or just to enjoy the views of the ever-changing Pacific Ocean, you'll find this area has all the ingredients for a perfect vacation or romantic getaway. A five-minute walk takes you to nearby Buckhorn Cove with its beautiful tide pools and rock formations, and the Inn is conveniently located to a number of the area's many State Parks. |

Activities and Attractions |
You can take a scenic trip through the redwoods on the California Western Railroad's Skunk Train, go deep sea fishing for salmon and albacore, snorkel for abalone, or visit the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, the only public garden in the continental United States fronting directly on the ocean. Golf, sea kayaking, canoeing on the Big River, mountain biking, and scuba diving are some of the many other activities available. Not feeling that active? Enjoy a day visiting antique shops and an evening of fine dining in Mendocino or Fort Bragg.

Rate details
Rates are per night, based on single or double occupancy; each additional person is $25.00. Weekly rates are available for Quail Cottage. Off-season rates apply November through April (except for holidays and local festivals). Specials available. Rates do not include county taxes and are subject to change without notice.
