Description Clear Creek Cabin is located 16 miles southeast of Harrison, Arkansas on the banks of beautiful Clear Creek. It is part of a 345 acre farm of rolling meadows, tree lined trails, scenic bluffs, and Saltpeter Cave. A quiet spot to relax and wade one's feet in the cool water of the creek, it is the ideal retreat for those wanting to flee the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the country. The Cabin was built about 1850 near Alpena, Arkansas. In 1951, each log was numbered and carefully moved to its current location. True to its name, sparkling water for wading or swimming surround this wondrous cabin. Open all year round, the cabin has a large living room with a wood burning fireplace to curl up in front of on cooler nights. The cabin has a comfy bedroom, a bath and fully equipped kitchen that makes this a home away from home. The cabin is air conditioned for your comfort and equipped to sleep up to four people. Prop your feet up on the porch swing while breathing in the heavenly aromas of a mouth watering barbecue. Amenities  Air conditioning, wood burning fireplace, phone, full kitchen, cooking utensils provided, linens provided, satellite TV, popcorn popper, and radio/CD /tape player. Activities and Attractions The meadows and trails of Clear Creek Farm provide delightful hiking excursions and the creek offers excellent fishing for small mouth bass. Go spelunking in the Saltpeter Cave, once home to the Osage Indians. The cabin is located for convenient day excursions to towns like Eureka Springs, Branson, Missouri, or Silver Dollar City. Venture out to see more of Mother Nature's natural wonders such as the Buffalo National River and the White River, famous for its incredible trout fishing.
