We offer a comfortable mountain cabin, completely furnished and beautifully maintained since its construction in the 1930?s. The setting, nestled among large ancient fir trees, is a perfect base camp to explore the surrounding middle Klamath region or just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains. The cabin features a large living room with wood stove, dining table and 2 single beds. The bright and cheery kitchen has both a gas stove and wood cook stove. The separate bedroom features a full-sized brass bed with a small creek outside the window. The bathroom includes a claw-foot bathtub with shower. A screened-in porch with rockers offers a private setting in the clean mountain air. The porch is also a good place to lay out cots or sleeping pads. For backyard games, there is plenty of room for horseshoes, badminton or volleyball. |

For those wanting to venture outdoors, our cabin is a comfortable home-base to explore the local Wild and Scenic rivers and the wild Siskiyou and Marble Mountains . Local rafting and kayaking opportunities range from Class III to V runs on the Salmon River during Spring and early Summer to less rambunctious Summer and Fall trips on the Klamath River . Both guided fishing and whitewater trips can be arranged with local licensed outfitters.
The Siskiyou and Marble Mountain Wilderness Areas of Klamath National Forest offer many miles of maintained trails and plenty of room for solitude. The Siskiyou?s are particularly wild and in this area are primarily defined by the Dillon Creek and Clear Creek watersheds. Both of these creeks offer fine swimming and some fishing. The higher ridges and peaks are rugged with a great diversity of conifers and flowering plants. The Marble Mountains have over 80 lakes to explore, swim or fish. Lush meadows with great wildflower displays are a feature of this area. |

Rate details
Daily: $80.00 per 1 or 2 people. Additional adults are $15.00 each per night. Children 2 to 14 years old are $5.00 each.
To reserve the cabin, one-half of the rent is required as a deposit plus a $35.00 breakage and cleaning deposit. The deposit is fully refundable if the cabin is left as found. The remainder of the rent is due upon your arrival. Checks or money orders are acceptable; sorry, no credit cards are acceptable.
